What do bettas eat?

Bettas are insectivorous carnivores with an upturned mouth. They eat tiny pellets, slow-sinking granules, and the occasional shrimp patty or frozen meaty extra. What a betta can actually finish

The diet is small on purpose. Protein belongs in a pellet the fish can catch. Fillers belong in the trash, not “just to see them eat.”

Do bettas eat algae wafers?
